The following list consists of all the cruelty-free brands we have vetted as cruelty-free based on our criteria, which can be found below. Its purpose is to help you shop truly cruelty-free no matter which products you need, and no matter what your budget is, anywhere and at any stores. You can use the filter to narrow the list based on your needs or preferences.
This list is for those who wish to avoid brands that test on animals or fund animal testing, and purchase only from the brands that have been vetted as cruelty-free. This means that the brands on our list have confirmed that no animal testing is performed on their finished products or ingredients during production, either by their company, their suppliers, or any third parties.
In order to ensure the brands we support do not put themselves at risk of animal testing, we do not consider brands that sell in China to be cruelty-free even if they use certain loopholes.

Our Criteria
All the brands found on this list were vetted to be cruelty-free, meaning:
- Finished Products: Their finished products are not tested on animals by the company or any other company.
- Ingredients: Their ingredients are not tested on animals by the company or any other company.
- Suppliers: Their suppliers do not test ingredients, raw materials, or finished products on animals.
- Third Parties: No third party is testing their finished products or ingredients animal on their behalf.
- Required by Law: They don’t test on animals where the law requires it, and are not sold in mainland China.

For example, you can look for cruelty-free hair care sold at Ulta, or choose to filter by skincare brands that are Leaping Bunny certified and 100% vegan and ship to your country, and so on. This system makes it easy to find cruelty-free brands that are tailored to you and your needs.

Purlisse can be added to this list. It says in their FAQ they are cruelty free and vegan. American brand.
Klairs cosmetics, or dear Klairs. “No animal testing” is in their brand philosophy.
Moroccan oil is on your list but does not have any symbol against it based on your legend. Is it cruelty free? 2016 you had taken it off the list. Please confirm.

Where are Jane Iredale products made and manufactured? I can’t find anything on any websites. I see they are on your site and Peta’s for CF, which is great, but I still want to make sure no manufacturing or creating is going on in China or other countries that test as required by law. I really enjoy their “Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain” and would love to keep using it. Thanks!

Hi, some of the cruelty free brands are owned by another brand who is not cruelty free what does that mean is the first brand still cruelty free or not??
Some cruelty-free brands are owned by parent companies that test on animals. Brands can still remain cruelty-free while they are owned by parent companies that are not cruelty-free. Hope this helps!
I’ve seen that Sleek Makeup claims to be cruelty free but I do not find it here and I’m worried because I just recently bought a highlighter palette from them

Hi! I noticed in the past years, I’ve not seen any Philippine Make up brand, so I’d like to mention few things. Pink Sugar and Happy Skin is a recent Filipino make up brand and claimed to be Cruelty-Free. I’ve tried out their products too but have not yet looked into a more in depth research. There’s also an independent skin care/make up line that I’ve noticed that only use organic minerals called Skin Genie. Now there’s one particular independent skin line that I’m a bit worried about called Nekkid Manila, they claim to be vegan, cruelty free and organic BUT I’ve looked into their ingredients, some of which has bees wax. I want to learn more about this and if you’ll be kind to help me out about them.

why is nudestix removed from the list when the correspondence says they’re cruelty free?
Sadly, Nudestix started selling their products in China. According to them, they bypassed the pre-market testing laws, but they’re still sold in China and therefore subject to potential post-market animal testing. 🙁
What about Boot’s No.7? I’ve always thought it’s cruelty free, and the woman at my local No. 7 swears it’s cruelty free, but I cannot seem to find any info on it!
