How To Use Our Cruelty-Free List
Our List of Cruelty-Free Brands contains over 750 brands that were verified cruelty-free according to our standard. You can find everything from makeup to hair care to cleaning products, and more.
This list gets updated in real time every time we make a change to one of the brands, so you’re getting the most up to date information possible.
Our list is the only cruelty-free list you can refine. We’ve worked hard to categorize each brand by several criteria, so you can filter the list and narrow it down to what you’re looking for. You can filter by price point, what type of products the brand sells, brands that are 100% vegan, brands that are not owned by a parent company that tests on animals, and more.
This is huge, as it allows you to find cruelty-free brands that fit your needs, values, and budget.
Here’s how to use this feature…
STEP 1: On the page, click the REFINE button (top right)
STEP 2: Select your custom criteria and click REFINE – the list will now only show brands that match your criteria!
STEP 3: Repeat as needed to find more cruelty-free brands!
You an also shop each brand by clicking on the buttons, both in the list or in the individual brand entries.
How to Use our Product Shop
The product shop works similarly to the brand list. Rather than giving you a list of brands, it shows you products that fit the criteria you entered.
We have a database of 1,400+ products that are verified cruelty-free, many of them being also vegan. We categorize each product based, of course, on the category, but also on the price point, values, and more.
The shop links you to stores like Ulta, Sephora, Target, Amazon, or the brand’s official website so you can purchase directly from your favorite store.
How to find cruelty-free products…

How to Use our Brand Search
Finding out if a brand is cruelty-free is easier than ever. Go to our Search page and type in any beauty, personal care, or household brand. The brand card shows different symbols. See the legend below. Click on the brand’s page to find out more details about their animal testing policy. Easy!
