Amazon makes it so convenient. You can shop from home and get any product you can dream of delivered to your door super fast. They have every brand under the sun, which also means that many of the beauty products they carry are tested on animals.

Spread the word.

To make it easier, here are 100 makeup, skin, body, hair, and dental care brands to choose from that are cruelty-free! Although Amazon has a "cruelty-free" filter on their site, please remember that it's not entirely accurate. Some brands that show up are tested on animals, and you'll be missing other brands that are cruelty-free.

You can click the brands below to shop. Each link will open in a new tab.

Makeup

Skincare

Hair Care

Bath & Body

Sunscreen

Dental Care

Deodorant

I hope this list has made it easier for you to find great cruelty-free brands on Amazon. Feel free to list some of your favorites in the comments!

Can you tell me I’d DUcare make up brushes are vegan and cruelty free as the claim on their website. I have bought a set but on the box it says synthetic an natural hair. The brushes are so soft, they feel like cat hair and with the cruelty I’ve witnessed online that takes place in China, I’m worried I have purchased brushes made from animal hair.
I am not able to find this brand on any cruelty free product lists. Can you help please.

Sadly Physicians Formula is no longer cruelty free as they now sell in China (as does their sister brand Wet n Wild).

  • Erin says:

Oh I didn’t realize I had posted here before. This is the same person who left the last comment about Avalon Organics.

  • E says:

2019 and sadly Art Naturals is not vegan and possibly not cruelty free as the first item that appeared on my Amazon search was beeswax lip balm 🙁

  • Erin says:

Thank you for putting together an Amazon specific list, since I do much of my shopping there. I don’t know if you plan on updating this but sadly Avalon Organics is not 100% vegan anymore. I clicked on the link you provided and they have a lip balm listed that contains beeswax 🙁

Product is “Avalon Naturals Refreshing Peppermint Green Tea Organic Lip Balm (Pack of 2)”. Seems to be a new USDA Organic line but it has “Avalon Organics” on the product sticker so same brand. Love the list though and that you marked which companies were (originally) vegan and hope this information helps.

Thank you so much for this post! I was just wondering if one ever has to worry about makeup on Amazon being counterfeit or something not from an actual brand. Just double checking before I buy anything 🙂

Hi I am aware of some brands on amazon that are labled cruelty free. However these do not appear on any lists that you have.
    Lavera
    Gaya
    Luvia
    Lamora
    Makeup revolution
3ina this one appears quite alot when I typed in cruelty free makeup.

Anyway it got me thinking is it not the law to advertise a product being cruelty free if is isn’t?.

Hi! Have you checked out Nourish Organic? They are cruelty free and self described “mostly vegan” . They’re Leaping Bunny certified and gluten free, too. They are mostly skin care, I’m currently using the argan and avocado oil eye cream. I’m also loving Every Man Jack…I’m a cis gender female, but I love their Citrus deodorant, and they are also gluten free and certified by PETA.
