In this post, you'll find the best cruelty-free hair care brands available at Target. They offer basics like shampoo and conditioner, but most importantly, styling and other products that might be hard to find.

The brands below are all cruelty-free, and they offer a large selection of vegan products. Most of them are not owned by a parent company that tests on animals. You'll find all the information, including certifications, marked under the brand's name.

The best hair care brands available at Target are: Giovanni, Hask, It's A 10, Eva NYC, Kenra, As I Am, and Carol's Daunghter.

Please note that Kenra and Carol's Daughter are cruelty-free, however their parent companies do test on animals.

Everything they make is free from sulfates, parabens, and phtalates, and many of the ingredients they use are organic. They also offer a large selection of vegan products, plus they’re Leaping Bunny certified. We love their Smooth As Silk Shampoo and their Smooth As Silk Conditoner, especially if you have dry or damaged hair.

In Canada, you can find them at Rexall, Walmart, Jean Coutu and Loblaws among others. I’ve also spotted them at Costco before.

Their products are free from sulfates and parabens, along with a few other ingredients. They mainly offer shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in treatments, with a few styling products such as their blow-dry spray.

We love their Argan Oil Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner for all hair types.
