Moss, a model and fashion icon who rose to fame in the 1990s, is a fan of all things wellness. While she used to be associated with all the trappings of supermodel life (i.e. glamorous parties), according to Harpers Bazaar, she's now a lover of yoga, juicing, and detox retreats.
It's this passion, as well as a love of beauty, that seems to have inspired the new luxury line.
In addition to two types of tea, Cosmoss offers an antioxidant-packed face cream, designed to plumpen skin and reduce fine lines.
There's also a "hypnotic yet grounding" Sacred Mist for the body. Further offerings include "pro-collagen" Golden Nectar drops infused with CBD, and a hydrating, mildly scented face cleanser.
"Each product has been meticulously crafted with wellbeing in mind and designed to unlock new rituals leading you to find inner balance and love," Moss said in a statement.
"Using only the purest, most potent ingredients, every infusion draws on nature to center and complete you. A story of reconnection from soul to surface."
Is Cosmoss vegan and cruelty-free?
Moss confirmed in an interview with Vogue that Cosmoss is a vegan line.
Some reports state the new brand is also cruelty-free. This is also mentioned in individual product sections of the brand's website. However, the website offers no explanation of an animal testing policy and there is no evidence of any certifications.
To clarify Cosmoss' cruelty-free status, Cruelty-Free Kitty has reached out to the brand to check it complies with our standards.
We will check that the brand doesn't test finished products or ingredients on animals, and neither do its suppliers or any third-party partners. We will also check that the brand doesn't sell where animal testing is sometimes required by law.
