does cover fx test on animals

Cover FX is cruelty-free. They’re also listed on PETA’s cruelty-free list and have the following claim on their website:

Are Cover FX products tested on animals?
Cover FX products are not tested on animals. Cover FX is PETA approved.

I e-mailed them to confirm that they’re completely cruelty-free. Here’s their reply:

Hello Kitty,

  • Yes! I just recently realized how terrible animal testing is today while reading your posts. I’ve decided to slowly go cruelty free with my makeup. So happy that I can get a cover FX highlighter! Thank so much Suzi for all of this amazing information!

  • Great! I was recommended this brand at Sephora as the only cruelty free liquid foundation they had. I like the finish so I came here to double check before I committed to buy. Thank you so much for this resource!
