Animal testing is only conducted where specifically required by regulatory agencies. Â In such limited instances, the tests are conducted only at contract testing facilities that meet government standards and, since our acquisition by them in 2018, the more rigorous requirements established by our parent company (Colgate-Palmolive Company) with input from animal welfare groups.”
Elta MD is owned by Colgate-Palmolive, a company that tests on animals. Not only is Elta MD not cruelty-free but neither is their parent company.
