Back in 2021, Grande's makeup line r.e.m. beauty hit the shelves. But even before that, the singer had been in the beauty industry for some time. In fact, she has a whole range of fragrances, including God Is A Woman, which was released last year.
The latter is vegan, cruelty-free, and serves as the inspiration for her new range of body care products.
The new line (also titled God Is A Woman) includes a body scrub, a body oil, and a hand and body cream. (A travel version of the God Is A Woman perfume is also included.)
Formulated with conditioning coconut oil, moisturizing shea butter, and softening argan oil, all of the products are scented with different variations of the original God Is A Woman fragrance.
"I am so excited and proud of this step and of all that we’ve created thus far," Grande wrote on Instagram. "It will never get old to me when people tell me that they love our fragrances. Or when I smell them on someone and they say 'thanks, it’s yours!'"
"It’s an honor to create things and to then see you enjoy them in every / any capacity," she continued. She went on to thank Ulta Beauty and added that there are many "yummy surprises" up her sleeve.
Is God Is A Woman cruelty-free?
Right now, Ulta Beauty states that the new God Is A Woman products are cruelty-free. However, the company does not require any form of certification to back up this statement.
That said, it's likely that the new range is cruelty-free.
Grande (a self-confessed animal lover who owns 10 rescue dogs) ensured that r.e.m. beauty does not test on animals anywhere in its supply chain, nor does it sell in countries where testing is required by law.
Cruelty-Free Kitty has contacted Grande's team to confirm that the new God Is A Woman range carries the same policy.
