The Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly subscription box filled with 4-7 100% vegan and cruelty-free products. The Beauty Box differs from the Vegan Cuts Makeup Box (previously reviewed here) in that it also contains skincare and pampering items in addition to cosmetics. Vegan Cuts also offers a monthly Snack Box filled with 10 or more yummy vegan goodies!

A Closer Look

The Vegan Cuts Beauty monthly subscription boxes (you can get yours here) go for $22.95 per individual box, or $18.50 per box if signed up for a full year (there are 12 boxes per year). Vegan Cuts offers free shipping on all deliveries to the U.S., but they also ship worldwide! Most boxes contain a retail value of $40-$60 (2 to 3 times the price), with a mix of full-size products and deluxe-size samples (no single use sample sachets).

In addition to being 100% vegan and cruelty-free, the goodies are mostly organic and natural, and completely paraben-free!

What’s In The May Box?

The contents of the May box are valued at $56 if you were to purchase all of the items separately. Here’s what’s inside:

  • Salis Skincare Blackhead Removal Mask ($7.50 value)
  • Luxie Beauty Dreamcatcher Precision Foundation Face Brush ($20 value)
  • Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Pressed Eyeshadow Single in “Sweet Pea” ($14.50 value)
  • Little Moon Essentials Clear Mind Mental Alertness and Energizing Mist ($3.20 value)
  • Pair’d Beauty Dry Shampoo Non-Aerosol Spray – “Sweet Cali Orange” ($6 value)
  • Nubian Heritage African Black Bar Soap ($5 value)

I really enjoy the variety of beauty, skincare and pampering products in the box. Between the Nubian Heritage Soap (personal favorite), the Pair’d Beauty Dry Shampoo and the Little Moon Clear Mind Mist, there is a lot of aromatherapy happening here! I have found the soap to be especially soothing for my dry sensitive skin, and I love that it is formulated with natural ingredients like shea butter, oats, aloe and cocoa pod ash.

I was also happy to see some nice makeup items included in the box. The Lauren Brooke Eyeshadow is a pretty neutral bruisey mauve shade, which I think would flatter most skin tones nicely, and is particularly gorgeous as a transitional crease shade. The Luxie Foundation Brush is super soft and luxurious! I don’t wear foundation, but I can definitely see using it to apply face masks extra fancily. It could also work well for applying serums and liquid highlighters!

Speaking of face masks, I’m also super excited to try out the Salis Blackhead Removal Mask, since I have found it challenging to find good cruelty-free products for blackhead removal. I would love to know if you have any more suggestions in the comments below!

Final Verdict

Overall I think this box is an awesome value and a great way to try new unique products and possibly find some new favorites! I am already getting a lot of use out of the eyeshadow and soap.

Yeah but being vegan and cruelty free isnt the only filter crucial for buying a product. The product must have sustainable palm oil derivatives too and the company must support only sustainable palm oil usage in all of its products and suppliers.

I’m really liking the blackhead removal mask. It looks like it detoxifies the skin very well. So i recommend a charcoal cleanser by shamanuti. I use it often and it’s amazing.
