Red Apple Lipstick pride themselves in providing makeup that’s safe, non-toxic, paraben-free, cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, and GMO-free. I tried their satin finish lipsticks in Hibiskiss, “a luscious and vibrant true raspberry color” that “can be worn bold or as a berry stain”, and Coral Crush, “the epitome of a true coral color; a pinkish-orange color representing the beautiful oceanic coral reef.”

The lipstick comes in a sleek black tube that’s sturdy, high-quality, and comparable to high-end makeup packaging. It feels luxurious and I absolutely love using it! Red Apple Lipstick manufactures their products within the United States, and this is absolutely reflected in the quality.

The quality of the product itself is equally impressive. The shades I picked, Hibiskiss and Coral Crush, are both satin finishes. Their satin finish lipsticks pretty much strikes the perfect balance of everything you expect a lipstick to be. They’re super moisturizing and have a high color payoff as well as a creamy formula. They’re not matte lipsticks, but they have no sheen or glitter. The shine they provide is very natural. Both of these lipsticks are very long-lasting, with no need to constantly re-apply. Another problem I have with some lipstick is that it feels heavy and uncomfortable on the lips, but Red Apple applies like a dream and feels like you’re wearing nothing but lip balm! These retail for 23.50$, which is well worth it.

I especially recommend this product if you’re looking for a gluten-free lipstick. It’s available in 42 shades, so you’re bound to find a color a perfect color and formula! Not to mention that Red Apple Lipstick has a generous 6-month return policy, meaning that you can return the product and get your full money back if you’re not satisfied, for whatever reason. No joke! It’s their official policy!

P.S. Check out the shade Audrey for a universally flattering color, or Naughty for that 90s Kylie Jenner lip.

NOTE: Red Apple Lipstick is currently having their Holiday sale! Everything on their website is 5% off, and you can use the code “FEAST” for an additional 10% off! This offer ends November 24th 2014.

I’ve been looking, but is this company certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny or even PETA? They sound like an Awesome company and I love that they are gluten-free. But I want to make sure they are truly cruelty-free. Thank you so much!

Hi Buffie! I understand your concern but I’m positive this company is cruelty-free although they’re not certified. They use safe ingredients so their ingredients aren’t tested on animals, and they’re an independent company that doesn’t retail outside of the USA.

Thank you so much for the answer! I’ll take a look and hopefully buy something of theirs soon. I can’t wait!!

I’m hoping up to pick a few new hues from Red Apple Lipstick, including Hibiskiss, Rebel, and Reddy or Not.
