Does Manic Panic test on animals?

does manic panic test on animals

Manic Panic does not test on animals. It looks like they only sell products in Hong Kong, but not in the rest of China. They’re cruelty-free based on our exchange. They can also be found on PETA’s list of cruelty-free companies.

Thank you for contacting Manic Panic!

All of our hair colors are made here in the US, they are cruelty free, Vegan and not tested on animals. As strong adovates against animal testing and animal products we do not carry products that are tested on animals in any way. All international customers including those in China are retailing products that are not tested on animal during production, none at all.

Thank you for your response. Could you please help me understand how your products don’t require animal testing to enter the Chinese market, considering the fact that all foreign cosmetics have to undergo animal testing in order to be sold in China? Do you only sell Manic Panic in Hong Kong, or is there another explanation?

Hong Kong is a separate territory from China and they do not permit animal testing on products. Again we do not test on animals nor do the retailers in Hong Kong do as well.
