does chantecaille test on animals

Chantecaille is cruelty-free. The luxury brand has confirmed via email that they don’t test on animals at any point, don’t have third parties testing on their behalf, and don’t sell their products in China. Here’s my exchange with a representative:

Dear Kitty,
Thank you for your interest in Chantecaille. To answer your questions, we do not test on animals, nor do we sell in China or plan on selling in China.
Thank you!

Dear Fran,

Thank you for your answer. I’m sorry to bother you one more time, but could you please confirm that not only the finished products but also the ingredients used in Chantecaille products aren’t tested on animals, and also that no third parties test on animals on your behalf?

Thank you in advance,

thank you for the link ๐Ÿ™‚ its great that you took the time to email the company, I have also done this in the past… I understand not all companies choose to get the logos… but I am not sure if them just saying they don’t test is enough!? why wouldn’t they want to have the logo to erase any doubt!? makes me wonder if they really are cruelty free ๐Ÿ™ thanks for all your hard work

I’d like to know the true status – I, too, love the products, but the company is not yet certified through PETA or Leaping Bunny. Any update from anyone? Thank you

I’d feel better if they had the certification from Leaping Bunny or PETA.
